About Us

OMICRON, founded in 1994,  is a unique consortium of Atlanta based IT organizations that have a common goal of improving the contribution of IT to their business objectives through a leveraging of shared management insights, resources, and buying power.

We are directed by an Advisory Board consisting of the CIO or IT Executive from many of Atlanta’s top corporations.  Our Advisory Board meet four times a year for breakfast round-table discussions, and two dinner meetings.

½ day professionally facilitated roundtable discussions focusing on specific IT issues.

Professional Development Programs
Half day, one day, and two day interactive programs that reinforce professional skills and concepts.  Our instructors have real world IT experience.

Project Management
Project management, planning, testing, vendor, and risk management programs.
PDU credits are given for these programs.

IT Executive Development
Fast Track process designed by top executives and trainers for future leaders which includes:
– Seven development programs
– Detailed assessment and eight hours (two-hours per session) of personal coaching sessions

IT Administrative Assistant Seminars
Breakfast seminars for administrative assistants and individuals responsible for administrative support to provide an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and networking with your peers.

Focus Groups
Small groups formed with a guest expert to discuss in depth a specific IT issue.

Work Groups
Multi-company working groups for development of solutions and strategies for common problems and requirements.
